I don't really have time to make a proper update, I'm overwhelmed with the amount of things that have to be done in the next 10 hours. I'm leaving here at 5:30. Josiah said he would take me to the airport, thank god, because its thanksgiving and I don't know how else I would get there. I cooked him crazy chicken and brocolli last night to seal the deal.

I told my mom I was going to Cleveland tomorrow, her response was "Sherrod, the only thing they have there is factories, and all the men wear white socks!"

I'm leaving tomorrow morning, I'll be in Cleveland until December 3rd. Have a lovely plzkthxgiving.

Its a bit uncomfortable now, and I fear it will just get worse. If this in anyway negatively impacts my Cleveland trip, or the amount of weight* I've lost - I will kill someone. Ugh.

There have really been a lot of strange webcam happenings this month. Not on mine, of course - I haven't even turned it on since october. I wish everyone had a webcam so they would know how horrible it can be.

The dog is totally stealable! I would never steal someone's puppy though. Not even one as cute and silly looking as this one. His name is Leo. I will totally be his friend because he looks like Aslan from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. He belongs to exii. Someone who I don't actually know. Yep. Dogstealers of the world, unite and take over. Dogs Rule!

I hate it when photo formatting forces me to keep writing things when I don't have anything else to say. Ugh.

Also, I hate to say this, but just by sheer volume of occurrence - they should rename this show "See Nerds Cry."

I finished watching Henry and June. It took me 3 days because I kept taking breaks at the boring parts to check my email. Maria de Medeiros plays Anaïs Nin. She also was Fabienne in Pulp Fiction. That's the chick who was obsessed with blueberry pancakes and forgot Butch's watch. Fred Ward is Henry Miller. Fred Ward is better known as REMO WILLIAMS! Uma Thurman is June, she's self-explainitory. Now, Kevin Spacey and Richard E. Grant are also in this film. They play a random friend and Anaïs's husband Hugo respectively. All pretty cool actors, one might think - but oh, how wrong one would be.

You can read the imdb descriptions if you care. But I will sum up - there is a lot of fucking, the accents are horrid and you won't be able to take any of it seriously because its just awkward and stupid.

Maria and Uma get it on - boring. Girl on girl with Uma Thurman... that's right - boring. She does it with just about every character in the film and its all just stupid. I can't even begin to start on Uma's bad fake 1930s Brooklyn accent. Sigh. This movie is just really dumb. God. I can't believe I wasted my time watching it. I wish there were some way to get my time back from Netflix.

Henry and June is a good movie to have playing during a party. Your guests can ignore the boring dialogue and just watch the droll sex scenes and make fun of them. I am possibly considering reading "Tropic of Cancer" now that I know it was banned in English-speaking countries for 27 years or something. But other than that, I have even less interest in these various literary figures than I did before.

I also watched Scotland, PA. Its not a great film, but its pretty decent and worth seeing for the indie feel and cool cast. Its the director's first time writing and directing, and he choose to do a retelling of MacBeth. He uses a fast food restaurant instead of a kingdom, and the manager/owner instead of a king. It has some really funny moments and a lot of great indie actors, as well as Christopher Walken. As opposed to Henry and June which exhibits the worst casting decisions ever made.

I'm going to try to get up early and go to the Nevada Day Parade along with the World Beard and Moustache Championships being held in the same area. I think that will make for some very interesting photos.
