Wow. I think I am going to pass out from shock. For the past
6 weeks I have sacrificed trips, fun times, weekends, evenings
and tons of other stuff I would have rather done so I could
study for the CISSP.
I took it last weekend in San Diego and I passed. Oh yes, I
passed the CISSP
exam. I can't believe it. 250
questions of pure insanity in a burning hot then freezing
cold conference room at the Marriott Mission Bay. I studied
my ass off, oh yes. I still had no idea if I had passed after
I took the test. Anyway, I passed the exam, now just have a
few paperwork type things I need to get through and I will have
my cert and can chill for like a week. I still have to do my
GIAC: Incident Handling paper practical and exam from SANS,
but I'm not nearly as worried about that. This is a huge relief,
I am so happy. YEA! |

I can't sleep. It's too windy with all the fans on, but eerily
still when I turn them off. I closed the windows which might
help. I had a really good day. Bellagio buffet and Venetian
and Caesar's wandering. I still don't really know how to gamble,
but I taught her and her brothers how to play roulette. |

I had a good time tonight. Having Michele here is the best thing
in the world. She needs to move to Summerlin. Also, umm, people
in Casinos are never-ending entertainment. I'm afraid to say
how happy I am because I know it infuriates you. Don't hate
me. I miss you and I'm glad you messaged me tonight, I was really
on the edge of going crazy. I'm going to fix everything, you'll
see. |

Wow. I never have time for anything. I was at SANS all last
week. I took track 4 with Ed Skoudis. I played capture the flag.
I felt like the ultimate script kiddie. Well, except I wasn't
a 14 year old boy in my mom's basement. Ahem.
Also, I am moving this weekend. Then it's my mother's birthday,
then veteran's day, then I am taking a bit of vacation because
Michele will be here for almost a whole week. Also, I got braces.
And ummm, that's all. ok. |
